Showroom Sales Assistant - Full Time

It’s a crucial guideline for the design and development of our pieces, which are created with respect for the communities and environment that surrounds us. Every piece of KATKIM is handmade in Los Angeles, California where the entire production process is overshadowed from start to finished product. Our designs are regularly featured in leading publications such as Vogue, Elle, W, Harpers Bazaar and Coveteur and favored by Charlize Theron, Rihanna, Gemma Chan, Lady GaGa, Lupita Nyong'o, Taylor Swift, Angelina Jolie, Taraji Henson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and carried in luxury retailers globally including Net-A-Porter, MatchesFashion, Goop, Saks, Holt Renfrew and more.

KATKIM is seeking an enthusiastic showroom sales assistant to start immediately. This position requires proficiency in time management, great eye for design and fashion, the ability to communicate effectively and in a quick manner and is interested in growing a career in the jewelry industry, who demands a strong attention to detail and who is task-driven with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving. You will be responsible for client services and relationships, organizing the showroom activities, educating clients about collections and overall creating a good-energy environment. We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute, with a genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow in a positive, collaborative work environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer experience in showroom appointments 
  • Email client inquiries and correspondence 
  • Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly
  • Coordinating with clients and stylists on scheduling of pick ups and drop offs
  • Assist with showroom visuals and all showroom needs
  • Facilitating production on orders and provide clients with firm timelines
  • Assisting with Shopify e-comm
  • Facilitating orders with production team
  • Artfully packaging and shipping client orders
  • Uncompromising attention to detail
  • Take pride in their creative work
  • Self starter ready to roll up sleeves and help the brand grow

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills 
  • Working knowledge of fine jewelry 
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Extremely prompt and punctual in responding to and addressing our clients requests and needs
  • Prior sales experience a must
  • Creative, highly organized, and solution-oriented. Ability to receive a task and anticipate the necessary steps to success.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines - highly detail oriented
  • Experiene will handling high value goods preferred
  • Motivated self starter with a "can do" attitude 
  • Flexible and willing to multitask in a rapidly growing fast paced small business environment
