MERCHANDISE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

UA (Uniform Advantage) Brands is looking for a proactive Merchandise Assistant to join our Exclusive Brands team.

Responsible for the execution of the day-to-day operations within the Direct division for Private Label products which includes collaborating in the proofreading process and following up on new items/colors to ensure on-time delivery and communicate any delays. Managing the agile list and new items list to ensure images are ready to live when the product arrives.  Review reports to live any styles hidden that now have inventory.  Reviewing websites for all new products ensuring content information is accurate. 

Manage shipment tracking reports including creating lists for updates by the International team and communicating with vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates in the catalog proofreading process for Medical and Chef Uniforms. Liaise between Merchandising Team and stakeholders across internal teams to ensure product accuracy and strong cross-functional communication.
  • Manages shipment tracking reports and follows up with the vendors. Communicate with vendors and internal partners to effectively resolve issues or discrepancies on time.
  • Manages agile list for image creation.
  • Manages new item list for catalog livings.
  • Reviews new items online to ensure product lives when in stock.
  • Participate in other projects, tasks, and business-related activities as requested.
Required Skills:
  • Strong proofreading skills, accuracy, and attention-to-detail essential
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to function effectively independently and work successfully within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities independently and under deadline.
  • Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM)
Required Experience:
  • Detailed oriented to be able to locate mistakes and correct, perform repetitive tasks with minimal errors, strong work ethic, able to self-manage and have ownership.
  • Adaptability to learn new methods and skills to be able to do different types of reports or adapt to company changes/policies.
  • Communication skills to work with vendors, planners, and other departments, team player mentality.
  • High School/Equivalent – Degree preferred
