CAD Designer - Remote / In Office Hybrid

We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will work within the CAD team, and the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Must work well with design and sales coordinating high volume workflow from concept designs through production.
• Ability to advise colorways of novelty.
• Experience with sweaters a must, proficient in knitwear, Wovens, sleep and outerwear for Missy , Plus and Junior sportswear.
• Must be an excellent flat sketch artist to do filled objects in illustrator, fast and accurate. Sketch fashion garment silhouettes, color, and finalize with CAD presentations for both internal and external partners.
• Develop exclusive prints and artworks.
• Develop pattern repeats and produces alternate color ways for developed prints.
• Provides production ready artwork and CAD presentations, in both print and electronic format, for internal and external partners.
• Work closely with design/sales to identify artwork/garment illustrations needs by brand and plan for execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Textile/Graphic design or related field.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working as a Fashion CAD Designer.
• Proficiency in sketching/illustrating garment silhouettes.
• Proficiency in developing original prints and graphics.
• Expertise regarding print and textile designs, color matching and creating of colorways.
• Excellent color matching skills.
• High proficiency in the latest releases of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong sense of color and composition.
• Demonstrates strong attention to details.
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced work environment.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Must be a team player and react to feedback in a positive way.
• Highly self-motivated and able to see through a creative vision from inception to completion.
