TEXTILE RESEARCH DEVELOPER

Textile Research Developer: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands  

This position supports research and development activities in the materials and product development function by supporting and developing all testing and analysis related to research and development activities and new product development projects.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Explore new technologies, landscaping and talking with suppliers, technology providers

  • Testing, running trials, working with mills and other technical vendor partners – All Technical activities

  • Interacting and working together with internal Design, Merchandise, QA, Product Stewardship, Procurement – brainstorming, problem solving, new ideas, presentations, product creation etc. Follow-ups with Kontoor Global teams in Asia in materials and product development constantly.

  • Assist activities in Product Development and Sustainability activities and achieve the corporate sustainability goals.

  • Document, SOP development and archiving data and records.

Experience/Education:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing, R&D, Product Development in Textile Industry

  • BS/MS Textile, Chemical, Material Engineering.
