Garment Testing Coordinator

Ariela & Associates International, is one of the largest privately held intimate apparel companies in the US, located in the heart of the NYC garment center. We are seeking an Apparel Testing Coordinator.  The successful applicant will work closely with our Arkansas office to submit lab dips/strike offs and track the approval process. This person will maintain our tracking logs and work with our Production and Merchandising group to update changes in fabric, pattern and color through the CTL quality approval process.

Specific responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  1. Keep updated on Walmart US and Canada apparel testing requirements and complete applicable testing application forms
  2. Receive, submit, track, and follow-up on all CTL Style confirmation, pre production & production garment testing for Walmart US and Canada
  3. Work closely with Merchandising for fabric, pattern, and color changes.
  4. Work closely with Production for testing sample needs, receive and track ETAs on sample shipping dates, factories, fabric, pattern, or country of origin changes. 
  5. Create and Issue COC/CPC’s as needed.  
  6. Update the girls' CPC data base with approved testing reports.
  7. Keep track of ETA dates for testing expirations and follow up on receiving new testing samples and maintain updated testing requirements for customers.
  8. Work closely with HK office testing team to track and receive CTL Preproduction internal testing results
  9. Track our testing/failure rates,

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

  1. 2+ years experience in a garment production environment,
  2. At least 1 year working with Walmart and/or CTL,
  3. Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Excellent detail orientation, with the ability to prioritize in a changing environment,
  5. Strong communication and written skills,
  6. A BA or Associates degree in a related field.
