Junior Planner (Entry Level)

Reports To: Vice President, Planning

Position Summary:

Tharanco Lifestyles is looking for a Junior Planner to join a golf apparel team in developing merchandise plans to support company goals and growth objectives. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills, have an eye for detail, be highly organized, eager to learn, and be able to manage and prioritize a busy workload.

Major Responsibilities:

• Run daily, weekly and bi-weekly reports
• Assist with placing buys
• Assist with seasonal trend analysis
• Work with international team, collecting orders and effectively communicate revisions and changes
• Work closely with merchandising, production and customer service teams on delivery extensions, shortages/overages approval and requests to air products when necessary

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in excel applications and statistical analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills to partner with cross-functional team members
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-through
• Demonstrate strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Capable of working in a demanding environment with the ability to react quickly to department’s needs
• Sense of urgency, flexibility, ability to multi-task

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent
