Production Assistant

NY-based contemporary women's clothing manufacturer is currently seeking a Production Assistant.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting in fabric / trim sourcing and development

- Assisting in sourcing new production resources

- Following up on sample development

- Following up on domestic and overseas production

- Lab dip / strike-off approvals

- Following up on inbound shipments of product

- Creating production and development calendar

- Organizing and maintaining swatch and trim library

The ideal candidate is an extremely organized and very effective multi-tasker. Excellent time management skills are a must. They should be able to work independently and with minimal training or supervision.

Experience in related field is preferred.
