SALES CONSULTANT - Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Team Expectations

  • Maintain a respectful, friendly and supportive rapport with managers and teammates

Appointment Duties

  • Developing comprehensive knowledge of our collections, styles, fabrics, colors, and style options/ possible customizations etc.

  • Developing knowledge of bridal terminology, bridal and bridesmaid trends, fit, alterations etc.

  • Cultivate friendly and supportive rapport with all customers

  • Guiding brides and bridesmaids through their dress selection 

  • Assisting brides and bridesmaids in trying on dresses: dressing, zipping, clipping, pinning etc. 

  • Providing friendly and helpful feedback for brides and bridesmaids, offering thoughtful suggestions

  • Guiding brides through mixing and matching colors/ fabrics/ styles for their bridal parties 

  • Styling brides from head to toe: incorporating accessories with her favorite gowns

  • Accurately measuring brides & bridesmaids

  • Offer fit feedback, suggest correct sizing

  • Communicate applicable monthly promotions

  • Closing Sales

  • Processing dresses after appointments- ensuring hanger straps are used, dresses are zipped up/ tied etc.

  • Wiping down all items used between appointments: pen, iPad, clips, measuring tape etc.

  • Maintaining showroom standards throughout the day: straightening hangers, standardizing bridal gowns, trains, etc.

  • Supporting follow up & gown pick up appointments if the original consultant is not present

  • Opening and closing store

    • Opening

      • Turn on all lights

      • Turn on music

      • Ensure showroom standards were completed from close

      • Process any gowns remaining from close

      • Prepare for your appointments

        • Gather necessary materials: iPad, clips, notebook, pens, measuring tape

        • Make notes of your brides’/bridesmaids’ appointment notes/ style boards

    • Closing

      • Process any remaining gowns from last appointments

      • Re-merchandise gowns onto sales floor

      • Straighten all gowns and dresses 

      • Ensure trains, veils and accessories are also standardized

      • Febreeze gowns- at least twice weekly

      • Tidy your desk area

      • Plug in iPads to charge

      • Turn off music

      • Turn off lights

      • Lock front door & set alarm

General Customer Service & Administrative Tasks

  • Answering phone calls- supporting MTO & ecommerce inquiries

  • Responding to customer inquiries via email for MTO & ecommerce customers

  • Booking appointments via phone & email

  • Email/phone follow up with your brides

  • Track and communicate order status with brides & bridesmaids

  • Process, confirm, and invoice sales orders

  • Processing order forms 

  • Charging orders

  • Address Customer Service complaints- offer solutions following company guidelines
