INTERNSHIP - Production, PAID

Location: Long Island City, NY

Role Overview: 

Fast growing contemporary womenswear brand Generation Love is seeking a part-time paid production intern ASAP.  Intern will work with our production team to see all stages involved from pre-production into production.

Responsibilities: 

• Working directly with production team on various hands-on projects including sourcing fabrics and trims
• Expect a wide range of tasks from organizing binders to communicating with local factories
• Spec'ing garments & help prepare for fittings

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Knowledge of garment construction and fundamental understanding of spec measurements 
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of fabric and understanding of basic applications 
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive attitude
