Apparel Customer Coordinator - Customer Merchandiser

SUMMARY

The Customer coordinator will have a broad set of responsibilities and will be a key member of the sales team. The individual will help to ensure our customers receive their orders promptly and upsell products in an effort to avoid a cancellation of orders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the main point of contact of assigned customers
  • Coordinate various points of contact internally (production, design, shipping, etc)
  • Proficient with creating reports. (Last Year vs. Current Year, Week to Week, etc. comparisons)
  • Month to Month Sales Reporting
  • Process orders for assigned customers (including entering orders, allocating orders/pick tickets)
  • Follow up regularly with customers for shipping approvals, extensions, cancellations
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solutions and defuse tension
  • Pass on issues to account managers when needed
  • Present new or additional products and services to existing customers
  • Send reports on sales activity, accounts status and possible issues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experience in the Apparel Industry
  • Highly organized
  • Some production experience a plus
  • Customer experience with mass retailers a plus
  • EDI Experience
  • Experience with AIMS 360, JOOR is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Great written skills, verbal skills, ability to follow up and multi-task.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
