JOB OVERVIEW: As a member of the Marketing Team, this position is responsible for planning and managing virtual events for International Cosmetics and Perfumes with retailer partners, on behalf of all distributed brands. The right candidate is self-motivated with outstanding organization skills for project management, excellent communication skills for client/vendor relations, and strong problem-solving capabilities. Previous hands-on experience in event marketing program management, helping enhance customer service and drive business sales. This role will also promote and maintain the intrinsic company culture that fosters the firm’s core values of: Transparency, Recognition, Accountability and Communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and execute a company-wide virtual event portfolio, including ownership of event production, content creation, and data reporting with company-owned boutiques and retailer department stores for all brands
- Design client-focused events based on internal requests, retailer requirements, audience objectives, and sales initiatives
- Build an ongoing calendar supporting marketing campaigns, key programs, and business objectives
- Expertise in the virtual event landscape, aware of current trends, and best practices for delivering virtual events
- Own day-to-day client communication, management, and project delivery responsibilities
- Lead live event recordings, speaker preparations, technical trainings, and event moderation activities
- Establish relationships with global and regional vendor partners, structuring collaborations in order to grow awareness, drive revenue, and maximize effectiveness of key campaigns
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to schedule, create and launch emails, landing pages, and banners to promote virtual and in-person events
- Provide virtual event technical guidelines for platform, support and execution protocols
- Convert virtual engagement into data by overseeing surveys, recordings, attendee lists, presentations, and budget
- Drive all event testing and quality control procedures before and during the events
- Conduct competitive research and share with team quarterly
- Create metrics for all programs and report on successes/opportunities
- Act as a liaison between consumers and the brand to increase brand exposure, meet client revenue goals, and establish proper channels of communication across internal departments
REQUIREMENTS
- 3- 5 years of events marketing program management experience
- Experience that demonstrates ability to create new, virtual event programs from the beginning, starting with the basics
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects on time and on budget
- Experience delivering virtual events across time zones and geographies
- Digital marketing experience across email, search and social
- Innovative critical thinker with sound strategic skills and analytical ability
- Good communicator with outstanding presentation skills
- Excels in collaborative work and thinking
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment while being adaptable to change
- At ease working with a small team and willing to take on new challenges/opportunities as they arise
- Experience in Beauty and/or luxury is a plus
- Possess a keen sense of innovation in virtual events industry and keep up with tech advancements
