ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – Men's & Kids Apparel
A well-established Sportswear Company is looking for a self-motivated, organized and knowledgeable Account Executive who can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The account executive will oversee all aspects of account management for key accounts and is financially accountable to drive results.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible to manage national & regional retail accounts at all levels in both branded & private label programs
- Must have a strong understanding of product development and merchandising
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills required
- Maintain and grow strong, effective relationships with internal & external partners
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities to grow the business with current & potential accounts
- Project and deliver monthly & annual sales forecasts to meet financial targets and drive revenue growth
- Shop the market to research and identify current trends and present competitive data to drive newness & business
- Partner with design/merchandising team on the product assortment
- Consistently monitor and respond to opportunities in the market to identify ways to stay ahead of trends
- Follow order from inception to completion to ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Relationships and Contacts with Major Retail Companies is essential
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-Motivated, positive attitude
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales or Merchandising in the wholesale fashion industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
