ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Men's and Boy's Apparel
A medium sized Urban Branded apparel company specializing in mens and boys apparel is seeking an Account Executive with experience in wholesale apparel. This is a mid-level position with potential to grow.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily tasks include, but not limited to:
- Working with buyers on open to buy, programs
- Preparing for buy meetings by preparing sales reports, cads, inventory etc.
- Report to the SVP on current business and strategize how to build
- Building existing accounts and developing new business by presenting multiple lines
- Creating lasting partnerships with clients
- Partner with production and design departments when necessary
- Navigating through internal system and generating reports
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in wholesale apparel industry
- Sales and negotiation experience
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask and work in an environment of busy executives.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
- Detail oriented – organized – self-motivated
- MUST be computer savvy (Windows PC, Outlook, Excel experience required)
- Quick learner… ‘can do’ attitude
- Good presentation (business casual)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Reliable and punctual
