ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Men's and Boy's Apparel

A medium sized Urban Branded apparel company specializing in mens and boys apparel is seeking an Account Executive with experience in wholesale apparel. This is a mid-level position with potential to grow.

Responsibilities and Duties

Daily tasks include, but not limited to:

• Working with buyers on open to buy, programs
• Preparing for buy meetings by preparing sales reports, cads, inventory etc. 
• Report to the SVP on current business and strategize how to build
• Building existing accounts and developing new business by presenting multiple lines
• Creating lasting partnerships with clients 
• Partner with production and design departments when necessary 
• Navigating through internal system and generating reports

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in wholesale apparel industry
• Sales and negotiation experience 
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask and work in an environment of busy executives.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
• Detail oriented – organized – self-motivated
• MUST be computer savvy (Windows PC, Outlook, Excel experience required)
• Quick learner… ‘can do’ attitude
• Good presentation (business casual)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Reliable and punctual
