Sales Coordinator

Purpose of the role:

The Sales Coordinator will be the key contact for reps and House accounts, supporting the Account Executive/ National Account Manager team by building strong working relationships across the Joules business and ensuring customers are managed effectively on a day-to-day basis.

What we are looking for:

  • Apparel /retail experience preferred, ideally within a multi/omni channel business
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums
  • Previous experience of working with US national retailers
  • A pro-active approach, suggesting new ways of improving process and the ability influence key stakeholders
  • Develop strong, knowledgeable relationships with external and internal customers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Own issues solve problems or complaints or escalate as necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of account administration, with particular attention to specific customer
  • Act as knowledgeable advisor to customers on products as required, supporting ‘alternatives’ selling where appropriate.
  • Manage all returns and credits for your customers or as directed
  • Order book management to ensure orders are going out in full and on time
  • Push for release of credit held orders to support conversion goals.
  • Support team with showroom set up, attendance of shows, big sales and other events as discussed/ agreed with line manager.
  • Work effectively with internal departments and colleagues to deliver objectives; develop strong relationships cross-functionally.
  • Customer-specific operational requirements (e.g., use of software, management of customer documentation and processes) are effectively administered.
  • Actively participate in team discussions/improvement activities
  • Contribute ideas and show initiative in continually improving work processes and policies to achieve greater efficiency
