ASSISTANT KIDS DESIGNER

FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:

• Assist Senior Designer with multiple clothing lines that support seasonal brand objectives.
• Ability to create Tech packs, fabric and trim development.
• Prepare design detail sheets and issue thorough comments on multiple sportswear categories.
• Help prepare presentation materials for line previews and buy meetings.
• Create color palettes, patterns, and prints.
• Develop flat sketches for new designs.
• Communicate regularly with foreign offices and manufacturers.
• Work with the sales team and prepare buyer presentations/packages as needed.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years in a design position in kids’s fashion, open to working in all product categories. A great position to broaden your experience.
• Illustrator, CAD, Photoshop, Excel.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Level:

$55-75k + bonus
