INTERNSHIP - Fashion Accessories Showroom

We are seeking an intern with a background in fashion ( wholesale/showroom experience preferably) and a passion for this industry. We enjoy working with interns who want a CAREER with us and are on a journey to find a potentially permanent company to grow with. Interns who provide successful assistance and help add positives to our team, will be considered for a potential role as a Showroom Assistant, which can lead to a myriad of other roles. Everyone on our team has the potential to grow from one position to another with the common goal of creating and maintaining a positive enjoyable work atmosphere, with plentiful rewards.  Agency Showroom has been growing steadily for over 17 years, and is known to be a leader in the accessories category with consistent bookings season to season. We work with hundreds of established accounts nationwide such as Fabfitfun, Anthropologie, Free People, Nordstrom, Disney, and Rachel Zoe.

This Intern must commit to a 3 month time frame ( dates TBD) and the hours and pay shall be determined by the applicants goals, availability and experience. If after a 3 month internship, this candidate meets expectations and has the desire and drive to be considered for an official role with us, we will be happy to discuss that possibility at that time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting our core team with sample coordinating, merchandising, general showroom tasks and sales assistance. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and love of fashion, with a fashion savvy, presentable image.
  • Experience (internships ok) in the fashion business. Retail background is ok but wholesale showroom experience is ideal.
  • Excel/ Word /Salesforce a plus.

We ask that all candidates send in a short selfie-style video explaining their goals, their background and why they would like this internship. If a candidate is a good fit, we will arrange a Zoom interview 1st and then a final in person interview at the showroom. We have openings for an immediate hire, as well as start dates for the following month and may hire between 1-3 interns. PLEASE do not call the showroom unless an appt has been scheduled.
