Production Administrator / Assistant

PO creation, PO amendment and system maintenance
Style master set up as a back up to sales administration.
Manage and enhance our current sourcing and production libraries in the shared server (purchase orders, booking worksheets, costing files, testing reports, manufacturing agreements, vendor report cards, etc
Create and maintain cost sheets for all new inquiries and production orders.
Responsible for ordering production trims for domestic printing and work orders (hangers, stickers, polybags, cartons, etc.).
Collaborate with overseas colleagues for shipping documentation, create system shipments for the warehouse.
Facilitate customs entry with our broker for all FOB shipments, instructing correct HTS codes and duty percentages for processing.
Coordinate with our customs broker, trucker, and internal team for freight clearance, pick up and delivery to warehouse.
Coordinate with various freight forwarders for all DDP shipments, and follow through for freight clearance, pickup and delivery to warehouse.
Special projects; analysis and reporting for management using Microsoft programs (Excel, power point, etc.).

Requirements:

A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position, children-apparel is a big plus but not necessary.
Must be proficient in working in Outlook and Excel.
Must be very detail oriented, with excellent follow up. Self starter and ability to work independently .
Experience using Exenta computer system (or other wholesale apparel ERP systems) a plus, but willing to train.
