Graphic Design - Print, Web, Package

Looking for a multi-disciplinary graphic designer with brand experience.

Magnetic Me is seeking an exceptional Marketing Graphic Designer with experience in both print and digital media to support the growth of an innovative, rapidly growing lifestyle clothing company. This position reports into the Marketing Director and serves a critical role that is responsible for how our brand is brought to life - from design strategy to concepting to production. This position is ideal for a creative and, most importantly, FUN candidate who wants to learn and grow their design skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, produce and manage on-brand designs for multiple project-types and platforms including website, emails, social media, landing pages, GIFs, short videos, print ads and collateral and more. While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on.
• Conceptualize, design, and execute print collateral and packaging.
• Strong knowledge of design fundamentals including strategic branding, color theory, typography and composition; you understand the science and art behind visual storytelling.
• Work with Marketing Manager to contribute to content development during a project’s development to help with graphic layout and optimization.
• Maintain promotional calendar, key launch dates & assist with execution of promotions
• Participate in creative brainstorm meetings.
• Responsible to meet online team deadlines in an often, fast-paced manner.
• Juggle multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-7 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house Web team for a product-driven business.
• BS/BA in graphic design or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of print design - including production, manufacturing processes, file formats and best practices.
• Proficiency in Creative Suite, AI, PS and ID specifically.
• Strong portfolio that showcases a love of typography, layout and packaging.
• Strong copywriting skills, excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.
• Strong time management and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience designing for consumer goods/products.
• Be motivated, self-sufficient and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through;
• Ability to think outside the box and awareness of print and digital trends;
• You like being part of a team and are happy and willing to work in a collaborative environment.
