Technical Designer, Jewelry

ANONX INC was created to reclaim the legacy of its founder ALEXIS BITTAR and his namesake jewelry brand. We believe our work should be accessible, unique and attainable, and luxury is in the design details and fine craftsmanship. We are looking for a creative talent to join our design team and achieve the vision together. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Design Director in managing the design process from inception to sample approval.
  • Cooperate with the team as a whole to meet all deadlines and reach seasonal goals. 
  • Conduct market and trend research in silhouettes, materials, hardware, new techniques and price points.
  • Demonstrate expertise and make sound judgement in design, material selections, construction, functions, practices and procedures.
  • Complete rough sketches and execute design redraws under Design Director’s supervision. This will include ideations on key aesthetics confirmed by Creative Director, Alexis Bittar.
  • Develop 3D models utilizing Rhino 3D, T-Splines, ZBrush and Rhino Jewel as instructed by Design Director, following internal design standards.
  • Create production friendly stl files for overseas development. Prepare clear and accurate techs utilizing Rhino 3D, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Partner with Product Development to review 3D models for factories and freelancers, and to ensure desired outcome of products.
  • Maintain the organization of seasonal design boards and CAD development folders. 
  • Promote an environment that brings synergy and fosters the respect for individuals and the ideas of others.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Rhino, Rhino Jewel, ZBrush, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong online portfolio or sample work
  • Work experience with jewelry brands preferred
