Sales Coordinator

Start: ASAP

Society of Lifestyle is a Danish design lifestyle company with four brands in their portfolio.  We have an international reach and an ambitious growth US strategy and are looking for a responsible and service minded Sales Coordinator to join our New York office. You will refer to the Vice President of North American Sales.

TASKS

  • Assist Key Account Manager and VP Sales in all aspects of the sales process, including showroom management, market preparation, and administrative support both digitally and in person.
  • Recap and present weekly retailer results (style selling, sales/stocks, etc.) for assigned accounts as needed.
  • Coordinate and attend market week appointments, digitally and in person.
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Back office sales and administrative tasks such as order handling, order entry, invoicing, etc.
  • Checking of orders to ensure accuracy of prices, product info, images.
  • Responsible for managing major retail vendor compliance together with logistics.
  • Various ad hoc tasks.
  • Ensure samples are effectively managed and tracked for customers and tradeshows.

REQUIREMENTS

You are highly motivated by providing excellent customer service and carrying out administrative tasks thoroughly and mindfully. You take responsibility for your tasks and can work independently with a high level of structure and overview. You have a natural ability to create and maintain close and trusting relations with both customers and colleagues. Days in Society of Lifestyle are never the same, so it is important that you are comfortable in an innovative and fast paced environment where you adapt and take initiative. You want to deliver high quality with a focus on details and are the one who ties all the pieces together.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Highly meticulous, organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong data entry and analytical skills; proficient with Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with B2B platforms and/or ecommerce platforms, setup and management; uploading data and CSV files, etc.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability – a 'no job is too small' mindset and attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solution-oriented mentality and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator who can effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Track record of developing highly successful, positive relationships with customers.
  • Familiarity with EDI systems and Microsoft Dynamix a plus.
