Design Assistant

We are in a immediate need for a Design Assistant for Women's Contemporary Line Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist the Designer in following development & WIP from factories
• Order/track/send out fabric, trim etc.
• Follow-up with vendors on a daily basis and manage requests made by the Designer
• Issue/re-issue PO’s as needed
• Gather/request all information needed for tech packs/ update tech pack
• Create tags for garments
• Create/update standards/ tech packs
• Take notes during meetings / photograph during market sample fitting
• Liaison between designer and production and tech team

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University and/or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Illustrator, and Powerpoint
