PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

The Production Coordinator is responsible for processing orders, and daily communicating with the overseas factories & cross functional teams to achieve quality & timely delivery, under the supervision of the Production Director, for high volume - big box retailers’ orders.

Location: Can be located in Palm Beach or NYC 

Responsibilities:

• Issuing purchase orders in the ERP system (A2000).
• Preparing supporting documentations for factories and QA Department.
• Following through customer requirements on what must be given to the factories (labeling/ packaging/ shipping/ overall production requirements).
• Preparing production material samples and sending to factories.
• Verifying all production submissions from the factories before submitting to customers for approval (label layouts, UPCs tags, hangtags, carton stickers, packaging, production samples)
• Daily follow up/email communications with the overseas factories, 3rd party testing labs and the cross functional teams
• Following up Time & Action calendar to ensure on-time submissions from the factories for all production approvals.
• Receiving, and sending parcels for the production orders.
• Handle other production related responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in apparel production, business or equivalent industry experience
• 3 to 5 years of production experience.
• Must be proficient in MS office, and especially in Excel.
• Excellent communication, follow-up and time management skills.
• Highly organized
• Ability to follow through high volume email traffic.
• Knowledge of production/manufacturing process flow.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have the responsibility of work and following directions.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative in fast paced environment.
