Wholesale Customer Service Coordinator
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the candidate will have a broad set of responsibilities and will be the key support staff of the internal and external sales team. This position is on-site, full time.
Job Description:
- Answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone including reorders, returns, order tracking
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to wholesale and retail customers
- Oversee order lifespan from PO submission to shipping, while providing updates to sales reps and accounts as needed.
- Follow up regularly with customers for shipping approvals, extensions, cancellation
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure accurate, on time shipping and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Collect payment information prior to shipment (credit card authorization, factor approval, etc.)
- Remain up to date on product styles and line offering each season
- Process orders for assigned customers (including entering orders, allocating orders/pick tickets)
- Upload style data to and download orders from EDI
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience in the wholesale apparel industry
- Experience with AIMS 360
- Basic Knowledge of JOOR or similar wholesale platform
- Experience with Shopify
- Knowledge of EDI is a must
- Inside selling and problem solving as needed for order modifications
- Detail oriented with strong research and follow up skills.
- Professional phone demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written skills for clear and concise communication to customers and internal departments
- Strong multitasking abilities
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative
