Senior Manager of Marketing - Remote

This is a full time remote position located within the US, with general hours of 9am to 5pm, EST.  Occasionally business needs will dictate additional hours. Our senior marketing manager will lead our marketing department and drive the success of our branding.  Pay is commensurate with experience. Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute, and grow the marketing strategy of MC in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Develop a marketing strategy that increases revenue, elevates brand awareness, acquires new customers, maintains established sales goals, and elevates the brand's impact on the industry.
  • Management of the two divisions of our marketing department, as well as our contract web designer and developer.
  • With guidance from the commercial director and founder, the senior manager will plan new product releases and launches in order to utilize resources in a way that reflects the priorities of the leadership team to meet business objectives.
  • Finding opportunities for new marketing avenues and other growth opportunities to present to the leadership team, and then developing a plan of action for implementation.
  • Hiring and managing team members.
  • Responsible for overall brand awareness and the development of new audiences.
  • Regular reporting to the leadership team with market assessment and competitive analysis, along with suggestions for optimizing these findings for action that aligns with the overall business strategy. 
  • Direct the team in data acquisition and utilization to ensure that the right data is being captured and used to inform marketing plans. 

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Managerial level marketing experience with a luxury e-commerce brand.
  • Successful track record of campaign ideation, creative marketing tactics and data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Experience with jewelry is a plus.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent management skills, of both processes and people.
  • Self-motivated, timely, reliable, and responsive to time-urgent matters.
  • Strong decision-making, organization, and planning skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant industry software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Canto, Shopify, and Google products.
  • Extensive experience with social media marketing oversight, including Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook
