Retail Store Manager

Hue Division - a sustainable loungewear brand based in New York City – focused on the impact of color and sustainable design. We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of people, driving sales and ensure efficient organization of the store.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years sales management experience in retail preferred
• Ability to create a positive environment to inspire, trust, lead, staff customers.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities include – but are not limited to:

• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations.
• Meet and exceed personal and store sales goal and standards of performance.
• Coach and motivate retail associates to optimize customer experience and sales
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and easy to navigate
• Providing customer service and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Monitoring sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
• Enforcing safety, health, and security rules
• Hire, train and evaluate sales associates
• Create staff schedules
• Train and develop a successful sales team
• Keep stock room organized
• Give sales team sales goals
