MARKETING DIRECTOR

The Marketing Director owns and oversees the brand across omni-channel marketing experiences. This role ensures the brand message, position, look, tone, and voice is cohesive across all channels. The main goal is to build brand awareness and make Liverpool a “legacy” brand and “go to destination” for casual lifestyle. The Marketing director needs to be innovative, creative, and agile, to try and test new ideas, execute, and monitor the results. The Marketing Director works closely with Creative Design Director, VP of Sales, Ecomm Director and President of the company to ensure all KPI’s for the company are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement the overall brand & marketing strategy
  • Manage and own the GTM Calendar and marketing campaigns and events
  • Initiate and run own cross-functional marketing programs that connect the brand with consumers in unique and compelling ways
  • Partners with the Ecomm on all DTC marketing, including website, Amazon, pop-ups, and other future channels.
  • Partner with wholesale on all marketing needs including department stores, boutiques, dropship accounts
  • Measures and evaluates all initiative according to plan and KPI’s, test and optimize and come up with recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Owns and manages the marketing budget and approves all marketing expenses and assets.
  • Leads the team to drive day-to-day marketing and communications strategy and ensure team creativity, productivity, and efficiency, including social media, content creators and others.
  • Manage all PR activities (via PR agency) with strategy & information, serving as a day-to-day point of contact, to secure relevant coverage. 
  • Manage and initiate work with brand influencers and collaborations with other brands.
  • Manage all content production including video, photoshoot both for branding, lifestyle, and product.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to create marketing materials
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment, industry, and cultural trends.
  • Collect and utilize customer insights to drive strategic decision making
  • Regularly communicate project progress to all stakeholders, seeking approval/feedback throughout process

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in marketing for fashion, beauty, entertainment, DTC or adjacent brand or agency
  • Experience managing multiple team members, as well as external agencies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong creative talent together with analytical and management skills.
  • Team-oriented, take initiatives and risk and being agile.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook), Adobe, Google Docs, Adobe Creative Suite
