Manager, Sourcing & Production - Textiles

Boll & Branch is seeking a Manager, Sourcing & Production - Textiles run production of our sheeting and top of bed business. The manager will oversee on-time delivery and quality while ensuring we uphold our supply chain standards. This role requires partnership with product development, planning, logistics, fulfillment, compliance and finance to improve speed to market, exceed margin targets, and maintain our standards and product quality. This role will manage a direct report and must be able to adjust priorities to business needs as they arise.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with planning and material sourcing team, you will oversee raw material and fabric positioning along with capacity planning in respective supply chain
  • Ensure we are utilizing our procured materials and adhere to capacity reservations
  • Oversee the execution of quality control. Interface with cross functional partners to review risk assessments; Ensure all product approvals and final tech packs are reviewed prior to production with suppliers and on-site quality control team to guarantee Boll & Branch quality standards are maintained
  • Oversee analysis and reporting of supplier performance and provide input as it relates to allocation decisions
  • Support new supplier onboarding and implementation, ensuring factories are compliant with our manufacturing standards and quality perimeters
  • Manage purchase order process from po creation to invoicing
  • Oversee data integrity and approval of product data (consumptions, yields) and purchase orders/invoices
  • Oversee production management to ensure deliveries are being met; Proactively work to prevent interruptions and lead issue resolution
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Support adherence to company milestones/calendar; Challenge and negotiate vendor timing to support business requirements and improve speed to market
  • Work to identify volume cost negotiations to improve profitability
  • Uphold supply chain values and traceability standards, ensuring product is compliant and traced

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience in variety of woven fabrications is required, fabric development or procurement background preferred
  • Highly proficient in Excel; Understanding of pivot tables and v-look ups required
  • Knowledge of raw materials, manufacturing operations, compliance, and lab testing
  • Engagement with ERP required
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to problem solve
  • Able to work in Summit, NJ
