SALES MANAGER

Contemporary Women’s clothing brand AREA STARS is seeking an experienced SALES MANAGER with current and active wholesale relationships with key accounts:

  • Must have current working relationships in Women’s RTW and accessories with accounts such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Shopbop, Revolve, Free People, and Anthropologie.
  • Must be able to share results on sales goals and how these were achieved.
  • Must be willing to setup/manage and attend trade shows.
  • Must be able to provide list of active relationships with key accounts in contemporary clothing.  
  • Should possess strong customer service skills including understanding different account needs.
  • Position is based in NYC with in person showroom time based on business needs along with remote work days and limited travel.
  • This role has high growth potential as the brand has experienced 50-100% year over year sales increases due to its salable collections. For the right candidate, this role can lead to senior management positions within the organization within 1-2 years based on sales results.
  • Benefits include-Generous company holidays (11 in total), Summer Fridays, Wardrobe Allowance, Comp days when a weekend tradeshow is required, vacation is accrued 1 day per month for a total of 12 vacation days, plus 4 personal/sick/floating holidays for a total of more than 3 weeks PTO after one year of employment. Medical benefits to be available after 90 days.
