KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Looking for a person with instilled passion and drive for the fashion business, who will help build our brand and our team. Someone to nurture our existing client base, and develop new key customer relationships leveraging our company’s resources. Help build profitable efficient programs that will drive volume and deliver healthy margins for our retail partners.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintain an existing customer base and prospect for new customers.
- Communicate weekly with merchandising and design on current sales trends and customer needs and interests
- Process sales orders, order changes, substitutions and extensions
- Follow up on unconfirmed orders and contact customers regarding outstanding confirmations.
- Track deliveries on late styles
- Answer customer inquiries
- Host quarterly best/worst seller meetings
- Travel to customers and attend trade shows as needed
- Maintain awareness of fashion trends and bring fresh ideas to development teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years junior, contemporary and/or missy apparel selling experience
- A good understanding of retail math and planning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in department stores, specialty chains, wholesale clubs, subscriptions box, .com and off-price retailers
- Must be organized and a strong team player
