Position Overview: The Production Assistant reports to the Senior Production Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of apparel development through production of our Adrianna Papell and Aidan Mattox collections. In this position you will interact on a daily basis with our design and production teams and vendors to ensure that garments are developed that meet the design aesthetic and quality standards. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-driven, organized, and is equipped to multi-task and assist in all things relating to apparel production.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Costing Chart for sales team for their review.
  • Provide production support for off price team.
  • Set up BOM's order system.
  • Track PO's from Sales Team and issue PO’s to factories.
  • Set up and review production status reports and review delivery issues.
  • Track samples - photo, showroom, and fit samples.
  • Track testing reports and care /content labeling.
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories on production orders.
  • Operate with design, production and sales team and manage flow of information related to POs, costing, samples, and orders.
  • Handle multifaceted circumstances with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail, organization and excellent computer skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
  • Reliable, flexible and require minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in women’s apparel preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Blue Cherry (ERP system) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required.
