Import Coordinator
Core Responsibilities
Sets up, update and maintain detailed Tech Packs for all import styles, communication appropriate changes
Sets sample due dates, fabric strike off and lab dip due dates with vendor and tracks development progress on a daily and weekly basis
Maintains internal docs to ensure timely receipt of all fit samples
Checks in fit samples as received and passes to fit tech for specs
Attends all fittings and takes detailed fit notes for the fit tech and imports designer
Maintain and organize all sample racks
Set up swatch and print packages for send out as needed for imports
Responsible for fabric and line sheet boards, design boards, tracking fabric, trim and finishing developments
Works cross functionally to ensure a smooth and efficient seasonal hand off
Assists with CAD illustrations and line sheet updates as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ product development or technical design work experience
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in fashion design or product development preferred
Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment, flexible in changing direction as needed
Familiar and comfortable working in Adobe Suites Apps- specifically Illustrator
Must be able to execute CAD illustrations in Adobe Illustrator
PC literate with basic understanding and skills in using keyboard and Microsoft office products
Candidate must be highly organized with ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency
and be a team player
Must have experience in measuring garments and garment construction
