Product Development Manager

Job Profile:

The Product Manager will be a liaison between the design, production, pattern maker, and Sample Room.  This position will require knowledge of planning and scheduling workflow in order to meet production needs.  A highly organized individual with great attention to detail will be the ideal candidate. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for creating & managing pre-production calendar that will create visibility for all departments involved.
• Will act as pattern room supervisor for 3 patternmakers.
• Responsible for coordinating workflow for the pattern room and sewing room.
• Will work with production team & designers in order to track and schedule work based on production needs.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Advance knowledge of Illustrator and Excel.
• Clear & direct communication skills.
• Swimwear experience is a must.
• Pattern & sewing construction knowledge helpful.
• Bi-lingual in English & Spanish.
• Attention to detail.
• Highly motivated.
• Able to multi-task.
• Checking In & tagging fabrics.
• Lab Dip follow up & logging.
• Maintaining the Fabric Library.
• Assisting in Sourcing Fabric and Trim.
• Assisting Merchandiser & Designer.
• Communicating with Production / Costing / Patternmakers.
• Assisting in Style Out Pulls.
• Preparing and Checking in Packages.
• General Assistance with Product Development.
• Filing Patterns as needed.
