Production Manager - $120K

Job Description:

• Negotiate prices with factory to achieve cost to meet target gross margins
• Manage allocation according to sourcing strategy
• Communicate with overseas factories to monitor WIP & T&A calendar in order to achieve required delivery
• Communicate approvals to overseas factories (lab dips, strike-offs, trims, pre-production samples, production samples, etc.)
• Communicate with sales team regarding program approval samples
• Direct all production shipping guidelines to the factory such as packing instructions, carton marking, labeling, RFID tags, etc
• Allocate and follow up product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling
• Review tech pack before sent out to ensure information is correct and complete
• Track all new seasonal developments samples utilizing WIP reports
• Identify materials and constructions to support designers’ vision and product requirements
• Collaborate with cross functional team (design and sales) to help create products that can meet price points while maintaining design integrity
• Problem solves with overseas factories when production issues arise to ensure quality and on time deliveries
• Enter and manage PO’s, shipping and logistics from product development through production

Requirements:

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, highly organized
• Act as team player, while acting as a self-starter
• Strong capabilities in use of Microsoft Excel and Illustrator
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim, and print techniques
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
• Walmart experience is a plus.
