ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Children's Wear

Kids Stop is a children’s wear company with a proven and trusted reputation among our current and growing list of clients. We design and sell quality children’s clothes with broad mass market appeal from Newborn to Size 20. We supply our products across all tiers of distribution from local mom & pop stores, to major department store chains. We ship our products to both domestic and overseas customers. Our company has grown steadily through effective leadership and teamwork, dedication to quality, and knowledge of current fashion and industry trends. We are fully committed to the changing landscape of the children’s market, and are always quick to fulfill our customers’ needs.

We are looking for a motivated Account Executive with a positive attitude and with experience in dealing with retail Buyers in the Fashion Industry. Must have aesthetic sensibility, an awareness of social and fashion trends, and solid merchandising skills.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Present Kids Stop products to customers in a structured professional way, face-to-face in the company showroom or other designated meeting places during sales appointments.
  • Be the primary contact for assigned accounts and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Actively open new accounts in the domestic market and be ableto travel when required.
  • Represent the company professionally during trade shows and acquire new business opportunities.
  • Work in concert with the Sales Team to create seasonal sales plans, product mix, and pricing strategies that will achieve appropriate sell-through and margin for both the customer and Kid Stop.
  • Work closely with other members of the Operations Team to monitor orders shipments and cancellations.
  • Ensure good customer service by assisting on issues that require Buyer communication.
  • Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience in Wholesale Apparel Sales. Experience with Children’s Wear an asset, but not a requirement.
