Showroom / Design Assistant
Apparel company looking for an assistant with at least 2 years experience. The office is small (5 people) so the job responsibilities include some assistant apparel design work, as well as managing the needs of the office. The candidate must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to successfully juggle multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Mailing/ tracking packages and all customer invoices
- Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering as needed
- Arranging office cleaning and copier maintenance
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly and keeping showroom neat
- Hanging and organizing samples
- Scheduling meetings/sending invites/writing meeting re-caps
- Purchasing and returning samples
- 1 expense report per month
- Creates and maintains files in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Mood boards/trend/shopping reports
- Develop seasonal color palettes, match color standards
- Seasonal style/trend research
- Special projects as needed
