HEAD DESIGNER / MERCHANDISER - Health & Beauty

A leading New York importer selling major retailers throughout North America for over 60 years, is looking for a head designer/merchandiser for its fast growing Health and Beauty division.

• Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years working experience in design and graphics, as well as retail merchandising experience in the Beauty industry, and a deep understanding of overseas factories and production.
• Create and produce professional Sales Tools (Illustrator/Adobe Creative Suite/Some Excel, Sell Sheets, Web-ready files).
• Competitive shopping, research trends and forecasts.
• Maintain and produce a monthly rotation of showroom trend boards / visual sales material
• Manage goals and deadlines while working independently.
• Organize and oversee product artwork files and packaging needs.
• Ability to travel to customer presentations and communicating with overseas factories is a necessity.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
