EDI & ERP Specialist

The EDI & ERP Specialist is responsible for processing and monitoring all transactions that flow through the ERP system as well as supporting and maintaining the BlueCherry ERP system. Reporting to the SVP of Information Systems, this key role will have experience with retail and ecommerce processes and applications, as well as a strong understanding of the supply chain and warehousing functions. With a functional\operational background, this position will work collaboratively with end-users, across multiple applications, platforms, and business areas.

Responsibilities:

BlueCherry

• Identify and resolve daily operational issues within BlueCherry
• Enter support tickets with CGS as needed and follow up on all open tickets
• Set up and test EDI transactions with new trading partners
• Process inbound and outbound EDI transactions including 810, 832, 846, 850, 855, 856, 940, 945, 943, and 944
• Troubleshoot all EDI communication, translation, and processing errors
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations departments to resolve EDI related issues
• Create, monitor, and manage to exception reports in ERP system.
• Assist the Finance team with month-end closing processes
• Allocate and run pick process on orders as needed
• Assist with BlueCherry related projects including system modifications, version upgrades, and user acceptance testing

Miscellaneous

• Assist the Sales team with setup for flash sales
• Assist with Customer Service requests
• Assist in resolving or escalating user and system issues as needed
• Assist with other IT, Logistics, Operations, or Ecommerce related tasks as necessary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ relevant work experience
• Experience with Retail EDI
• Must be computer-savvy & able to work on a multi-platform environment
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Effective research, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
• Must have experience working with a retail ERP system…BlueCherry ERP a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills
• Extremely detail oriented
