DESIGNER - TREND ANALYST

In this Design-Trend Analyst role, you must be able to support new and ongoing business initiatives for mass accounts. Must be flexible and knowledgeable to work on all categories…Ladies, Men’s, Kids, and Lounge. Looking for creative, analytical, and business minded people that are able to articulate market intel and data in a clear and passionate manner.  In this role, you will be supporting our NY office and Korean Headquarters and attending buyer meetings as a team.  This role is freelance with an opportunity for full time after a 3 month trial.  

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Market Analysis:  Must be able to track and analyze the market in order to deliver market shifts, data, and offer recommendations and solutions to help build the business.
  • Trend Reporting, must be up to date on all new fashion trends and retail stores within the US and Europe.  Extensive trend reports are done in PowerPoint & Canva.
  • Must either know or be willing to learn video programs to help create compelling videos for our top retailers.  Use of IMovie, Canva, and Premier a huge plus but training can be organized in order to master.
  • Track retail floor sets on a monthly basis and deliver this information to HQ in an analytical minded manner. 
  • Must be willing to learn 3D sketch program to support the R&D team 
  • Attend retail meetings and support in presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a degree in fashion design 
  • Must have at least 2-8 years experience.  Please do not apply if you are overqualified, this is a designer level.   
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Xcel and Powerpoint.  
  • Strong organizational and management skills, articulate and professional.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude is necessary, as priorities may change on a weekly basis.
