Technical Designer

We are seeking a Technical Designer who will work closely with the designers, sourcing, factories, and sales team members on tech packs

Key Accountabilities:

• Creating detailed tech packs. This includes measurements, construction details and technical sketches
• Ability to evaluate fit samples, resolve discrepancies and fit issues at all stages
• Review specs and measurements of proto, FITs, PP, TOP, and size runs against specifications for fit and construction
• Write clear comments to the factory
• Work closely with Design and Sales to adjust styles as needed for the customer
• Communicate daily with overseas factories
• Attend fittings as necessary to ensure garments meet all required standards
• Participate in design, technical and cross-functional meetings

Education and Experience:

• 3 years of technical design experience 
• Must know and understand garment construction
• Have an understanding of multi-categories, such as knits, woven, and cut & sew
• Ability to create a graded spec

• Must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
• Must have Patternmaking experience
