ASSOCIATE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Works with Design Director seasonally on brand appropriate trend research for development and creation of production ready prints, graphics, yarn dyes, jacquards and tie dyes for Junior and Young Missy sportswear collections.
• Collaborate and communicate with designers and sales team on numerous projects for multiple brands simultaneously.
• Prepare and submit artwork for production. 
• Review and comment on printed strike offs and communicate with overseas and in-house team during production approval process. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (or related field) with at least 5 years experience in the fashion industry. Working on print design and repeats
• Must be proficient on Macs, and with the following industry standard programs: Illustrator & Photoshop. Nedgraphics experience or the willingness to learn is also a plus.
• Candidate should possess strong sense of color and hand illustration skills, along with technical print knowledge.
• Must be highly creative and organized, with the ability to problem solve and work on tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and work efficiently in a team environment.
