Job Description

The Customer Service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Customer Service Department..

Position: Customer Service Representative

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
  • Processes customers’ orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items
  • Communicates with the warehouse for shipping
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Works with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Able to analyze and execute instructions properly
  • Ability to maintain an organized work schedule and meet deadlines

Required Education and Experience

  • EDI Experience
  • Good MS Office Outlook and Excel working knowledge
  • Knowledgeable of Vantage Point
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.

Abilities:

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Must have great follow up skills via –e-mail and phone
  • Attention to detail orientated
