Job Description
The Customer Service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the Customer Service Department..
Position: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
- Processes customers’ orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
- Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items
- Communicates with the warehouse for shipping
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Works with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Able to analyze and execute instructions properly
- Ability to maintain an organized work schedule and meet deadlines
Required Education and Experience
- EDI Experience
- Good MS Office Outlook and Excel working knowledge
- Knowledgeable of Vantage Point
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
Abilities:
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Must have great follow up skills via –e-mail and phone
- Attention to detail orientated
