Production Assistant / Associate

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT/ ASSOCIATE (New York City)

New York based women’s fashion company seeks a Production Assistant/Associate.  We are a contemporary apparel company that has multiple brands and lines in the missy, women and junior wear categories from related separates, bottoms, tops, jackets, and dresses.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Communicate with oversea factories to monitor production process;
• Issue purchase orders;
• Follow up samples and production approvals;
• Order price tickets and follow-up delivery status to factories;
• Assist Production Manager on sample and bulk production follow-up;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferably in Mandarin Chinese;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
• 3-5 year experience

Compensation:

Full time 5 days a week in NY office
