Children's Wear Sales Executive

Established women's wear fashion company is seeking a children's wear sales executive to join their growing team. This is a great position for a self-starter with initiative and drive to start up a new children's wear line (girls and toddlers) to market to buyers. 

Previous experience in children's wear sales and merchandising needed, experience with larger accounts as well as boutique store buyers. 

You will be very connected and current on calling on the relevant children's wear accounts; you know who they are and have good connections.

• Work with design to execute line plan, collect buyer feedback and funnel into development of styles
• Cultivate new accounts and seek opportunities to expand business with existing accounts in children's wear; identify and strategize means to penetrate new markets
• Research and perform competitive analysis; monitor relevant trends and communicate to internal partners
• Planning seasonal business by category, writing orders, analyzing results with action plan
• Accurately forecasting product needs
• E-commerce background a plus
• Experience with promoting styles to social media influencers and coming up with new ways to market the line to customers
• Create buyer showroom appointment recaps, picture packages, etc.
• Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
• Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math
