CREDIT CONTROL ASSOCIATE, REMOTE - Temporary

Overview:
 
We are currently seeking a Credit Control Associate in the Financial Operations group.  The Credit Control Associate will initially report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for administrative and operational tasks with respect to Accounts Receivable.  Key responsibilities include processing new customers, maintaining updated customer records, contacting accounts with past due balances, and addressing customer statement and invoice inquiries.  The ideal candidate must have credit control/ general accounting experience with a keen eye for detail, ability to assert company's Compliance Policy, answer high volume of email and communicate tactfully and assertively.

Duties: 

  • Process checks and credit cards as needed
  • Set up new customers in AX database
  • Maintain customer records
  • Contact accounts with past due balances
  • Address customer inquiries
  • Follow up with customers for any exception payments and post accordingly
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash in suspense and cash on account at customer level
  • Escalate unresolved items to supervisor per pre-determined aging timeline
  • May assist in other special projects as required
  • Serve as liaison between US & UK business units
  • Perform special projects tasks when needed

  • Will be self-motivated and extremely well organized

Experience: 

  • Excellent Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet
  • Accounts Payable experience (1-2 years minimum)
