PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - Contemporary Women’s Line

ALEXIS, a contemporary women’s line, is seeking an entry level production assistant to work closely with our Production team in our Miami office. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, work well under pressure and possess high attention to details.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Coordinating the development and execution of samples from design intent through bulk production.
• Will work under general direction and independently handle complex issues.
• Assist Production Manager and Development/Tech Manager in various stages of production.
• Monitor and update WIP reports.
• Assist Product Development Manager with all stages of style development. (Fittings, cutters must, sample tracking, fit notes, etc).
• Documenting QC issues and help QC production samples
• Assist in specing a garment.
• Check in shipments, inspecting and assisting in QC.
• Administrative tasks (Sorting, filing, archiving, data entry, etc) 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be extremely organized.
• Excellent oral and writing skills.
• Strong multi-task skills.
• Must prioritize well and focus on completing assigned tasks.
• Proficient in word, excel, outlook.
• Fashion degree necessary.
• Knowledge of production cycle timeline.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement.
• Detail oriented.
• Must have a sense of urgency in managing time.
• Good problem solving skills.
