Merchandising and Product Development Assistant

MERCHANDISING AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

MAX STUDIO is seeking a Merchandising and Product Development Assistant for our Pasadena, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain line sheets and presentation decks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Create digital and physical presentation boards and sales tools as required by the sales and merchandising teams.

- Assist in major account meetings by organizing samples and showrooms and ensuring all sales aides are prepared ahead of time.

- Organize showroom by classification and fabric, with special attention to specific account needs.

- Participate in visual merchandising aspect of showroom set-up for account meetings by demonstrating strong aesthetic sensibility.

- Handle and maintain administrative projects including filing, organizing, tagging samples, and ensuring samples are photographed.

Requirements:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in apparel merchandising/design.

- Must demonstrate strong understanding of color and print aesthetics and fabrics.

- Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.

- Strong communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload in order to meet all objectives.

- Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management or simiilar field
