MARKETING MANAGER

Experienced Marketing Manager to direct and oversee Marketing for Callaway Golf and Original Penguin Golf. This role will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies globally that align with Perry Ellis International's business goals. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Direct the strategic creation, development, communications, and implementation of the Callaway and Original Penguin golf brands within the marketing budget 
  • Plan and recommend marketing strategies to achieve maximum market penetration with retail partners
  • Collaborate with Sales/Design/Graphics, as well as external resources to create an integrated marketing strategy for the brands 
  • Participate in the development and implementation of collateral and marketing materials
  • Lead and manage the marketing department on Retail Marketing, Public Relations and Event Marketing
  • Provide a consistent, fair, and situational management style in order to maintain a cohesive department
  • Develop a marketing plan and budget for the brands 
  • Develop consistent messaging to various constituents, including press, prospects, and existing customers
  • Provide competitive/market research and analysis of market trends and opportunities for presentations.
  • Orchestrate the marketing launch process and manage every component including PR, advertising from implementation to execution 
  • Develop, drive, and execute comprehensive marketing programs, including visual directives, sales tools, collateral, newsletter input, advertising, invitations, tradeshows, seminars, conferences, and websites for communicating consistent messages externally 
  • Develop all marketing department standards, policies, and procedures 
  • Coordinate and partner with the marketing department in the UK on global brand strategies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • 10 + years of proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
  • BA degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field; MA/MBA preferred
  • Golf experience preferred
